Infected Wounds
Choose a Silverlon® dressing that covers the wound bed and up to 1-2cm (½-1”) of normal skin around the wound. Place silver side down onto the wound. The effectiveness of the dressing is increased by wetting the Silverlon® Pad.
Gently remove Silverlon®. If wound or dressing appears dry, add water or saline to the dressing. Dispose of Silverlon®. The dressings may be left in place for up to 7 days.
